Illinois may not put the most kids in D1 programs but high school basketball is special in this state this time of year. Some of the best games I've ever seen have been high school football and basketball games in Illinois.

Watched the Simeon/Ignatius semi. The big guy, Justin Scott, can really move at 6'5 310. I can see why he's a 5-star in football. Kendall Gill's son, Phoenix, can really play. Only a soph., he will be highly recruited. Simeon will be tough to beat. They look like the best team in the state. The Rubin brothers are a force on defense.
