In Ohio, the playoffs are broken down into regions. All first and second round games the higher seeded team gets home field advantage. From the regional semifinals through the state championship the games are played on a neutral field. I like that kind of set up.Out of curiosity, does anyone know a state where the higher seed has home-field advantage throughout the playoffs?
To the winner goes the spoils!I'm all for the higher seed hosting. In 2016 #26 MS hosted #3 Palatine in the semifinals. That's ridiculous!
Now THAT would be cool. I would no doubt drive across the state to see TWO great games!I’d like neutral site for the semis but I’d like to see the semis in the same spot for each class. A doubleheader.
I understand in certain situations it might not be logical geographically but if the four teams are within a reasonable drive from each other I think it would be cool. Now THAT would be cool. I would no doubt drive across the state to see TWO great games!
