Looking doubtful there is so much to unpack after this game but this is the second game in a row where they were throughly out coached. To end the game WWS burned all their timeouts and on 4th and inches sent their punt return team out, Geneva sent their offense out and picked up the first down then kneeled out the clock. Tigers also opted for two long FG attempts that were missed instead of going for it not to mention the two dropped TD passes and the 70 yard TD called back to go along with numerous penalties. I figured there would be a learning curve for the coaching staff but this is terrible.
Geneva played really well and Thorsen called a really solid game, he had them moving in the right direction.
This is a game the Tigers couldn't afford to lose. Looking ahead...
SCE... should win.
Batavia... expected to lose.
WN... WN looks like the better team but it's a rivalry game.
LP... win - if they can't beat LP they don't deserve to make the playoffs.
GN... toss up. GN much better than last year.
Their fate may be decided the last week.

Curious why you or anyone else thinks Batavia should lose? They stop the run, cover well in the pass game and beat WN, everyone's favorite..

Kudos to new coach Boone Torgersen. He has does a tremendous job at Geneva.
Geneva has under performed for a few years and is a program that should be top 25 every year. Excited to see them progress under his leadership.

It's the 21st century.. Pretty sure Batavia has only lost 4 or 5 times the last 20 years to Geneva and zero times the last decade. That's more than a few is all I'm saying..Let him be colin. He’s trying to deflect Batavia underperforming for, well, the entire 20th century.
