Tonight it will be the Cubs' turn. Mets will be up 2 games to 1 by the end of the night.
When did you become a Mets fan? Hahaha! I simply can't believe the Cubs are allowing themselves to be swept out of this series. It's not like the Mets are pounding them either. But the Mets pitching has been nothing short of outstanding. They have had a few things go their way too, but that's baseball.
I really didn't follow the Mets much this year. But about two months ago my older son told me of the pitching staff they have. At that time he said not to overlook them, but I guess I have. He picked them over the Dodgers when I picked L.A. He also picked them over the Cubs when I picked the Cubs. The other thing to remember is this. New York is doing this without their starting shortstop.
If the Mets do finish off the Cubs and Kansas City knocks the Blue Jays out it should be a very interesting World Series.
