Impact Player for Paxton Buckley Loda?
Paxton Buckley Loda senior to be OL/DL Ethan Williams (6-foot-4, 250 pounds) is a multi-year two ay starter for the Panthers over the past few seasons and will again be asked to provide both leadership and production this summer and fall. Williams has good size and tools and will no question continue to add more recruiting looks and attention this summer and fall. Williams is an athletic big man who also has the frame to allow him to add much more good weight and size at the next level.
EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2025 Paxton Buckley Loda Panthers?
Paxton Buckley Loda (PBL) has been a consistent winner under head coach Josh Pritchard as Prichard has posted an impressive 36-22 record in 6 seasons leading the Panthers program, a program that has made 10 straight IHSA state playoff appearances including 6 straight under Josh Prichard. The Panthers are seeking to improve upon last seasons 7-4 record as PBL lost in Round 2 of the Class 3A state playoff field to DuPec. The Panthers will welcome back an impressive 16 returning starters (8 offense 8 defense) and this team should be considered as one of the top teams in the Illinois Prairie conference this preseason along with a team to watch in Class 3A this fall.
The biggest question facing PBL this summer?
Can the Panthers find some key additional depth and add to it's overall numbers this summer? Overall numbers and especially numbers that have some ability to contribute are always a big piece to making any sort of deep playoff run and is key will also be a key to the PBL Panthers as well in 2025. The Panthers look to have 5 kids playing both ways...and the more capable backups you can find and develop for the season all the better here for PBL in 2025. The Illini Prairie conference is no joke and taking on the likes of St. Joe Ogden, Monticello, BCC and Tolono Unity is a grind and the more depth and numbers the better this fall. Again I like the PBL Panthers chances going into the summer and this has the look of another state playoff caliber team in 2025.
Preseason Ranking? 2025 Preseason Class 3A Top 10 consideration
