Keep an eye on Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond senior RB/LB Easton Frederick (5-foot-9, 180 pounds) who is a big time playmaker and impact two way starter for the Knights. Look for Frederick to continue to draw various collegte looks this summer and fall.
EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2025 ALAH Knights
ALAH and head coach Ryan Jefferson led the Knights to a 9-2 in 2024 as ALAH made the Class 2A state playoff field, beat North Mac in Round 1 action then ran into a buzzsaw in Quincy Notre Dame and lost in Round 2 to finish the season. The Knights under head coach Ryan Jefferson have made the IHSA state playoffs in 5 straight seasons and ALAH has been a consistent winning program under Jefferson posting a 43-27 record in seven seasons. With 17 returning starters back from a staste playoff team last season, look for ALAH to again be in conterntion in the Lincoln Prairie conference race and also a top team to watch in 2A.
The biggest question facing ALAH this summer?
Can the Knights find it's way to a 10 plus win season in 2025? The Knights have now posted back to back 9 win seasons and again the program looks to be on the rise and in good shape. The Lincoln Prairie conference race should be strong this fall with the usual suspects and with a break here and there, this could wind up asd a 10 win plus team in 2025.
