Good morning, I'm working from my car this morning, so this will be a quick one. This week's upset is....... Batavia over Downers Grove North. I've seen the Bulldogs play many playoff games, and one thing I've learned is to never count them out. I like Batavia, final score.... Batavia 28 - DGN 21. That's this week's upset. What are your thoughts and who is your upset?

I don't see it, but that's why they call it an upset.
MS and DGN both score 40+. DGN Lansu throws for 4 and wins by 2 TDs, and MS wins by less than a TD after an INT at the end in a shootout at the private school up North.

Playing with house money: If there is a true upset it will be Chatham defeating a powerful EStL Flyer team. Will it happen? Needle in the haystack of a possibility but...
~ EStL has to play on the road and on grass!
~There will be zero home cooking by the officials
~Common opponent scoring is close and comparable.

The above means absolutely nothing unless Chatham plays error free ball without pissing themselves like in 2019... getting down 28-0 by halftime in EStL. Looking at this game there are ways to beat EStL just as there were ways of defeating Iron Mike Tyson when he was 20 it just never happened. But, IF... the Titans pull off the upset it would have to go down as one of the greatest upsets giving the snowball chance in Hades they have been given.

I hope whoever wins has zero injuries going forward!

I'll take two:
Richards over Kankakee. Richards isn't allowed to lose in the playoffs until the play Eastside.
Warren over York. Six Flags stays open another week!

Not an upset despite what the rankings / Calpreps says. At an 11-0 Sycamore team with the best DB in the state…tough sledding for the Catholic Spartans
Cmon, I'm not buying it. SF has wins over the #2 & #6 teams in the state. They are the prohibitive favorite here. Sycamore has not seen anything close to the athletes St Francis will have on the offensive side of the ball on Saturday.
