Favorite IHSA Player You Like to Follow in College

For various reasons, my favorite player to watch is former Hinsdale Central defensive end Sean Kelly. He is currently a starting DE at Brown Univ. Can't wait to head out east next week to watch him in person as the Brown Bears take on Harvard. Great player and fantastic young man!

I consider myself lucky to have been able to watch so many of his games in person at Naz.
He was a spectacle that needed his own security. Guys opening up their trunks in our lot as Naz walked for warmups filled with Michigan helmets and gear looking to get signed. Lines of 30-45 minutes after the games filled with children (and opposing teams cheerleaders), just wanting to take a picture. But the best of all was just watching JJ do it all with class.

My son plays in Michigan, so every Saturday morning I drive the morning commute and listen to their local sport radio. It's pretty cool to hear most of being about both, McCarthy and Thorne.

Tanner Koziol still at it for Ball State along with Jayshon Jackson.

Vaughn Pemberton seeing some good carries as a FR

Also EIU might be down, but Hillcrest's Elijawah Tolbert is absolutely erupting as a SO.

24 Tackles, 2 TFL, .5 sacks, 3 picks and 3 PBU.

@NapervilleBuck your boy is back. 22/29 for 319 and 4 to kick off MVC play...

Also a great week for Nick Baker, the Catching Coxs and SIU
He’s doing a heck of a job distributing the ball as well as using his legs to his advantage. People can now see why multiple B1G teams reached out to him the last year. Imagine Iowa with this kid. Or Wisconsin.

Sean is a stud for Brown!

I tune into as many Colgate games as possible (thanks ESPN+). Micheal Brescia - a true Power 5 transfer prospect; Garret Oakey - likely NFL FA opportunities; and Owen Goss are all starters and Hinsdale Central alumni.

Curious to learn how the transfer of Mar'keise Irving (Hillcrest) from Minnesota to Oregon will work out. Until the Ducks join the Big Ten, I will have to stay up late many weekends to find out!
Against Washington State Saturday, he had 11 rushes for 81 yards and 5 catches for 38 in 44-41 Duck win (in the afternoon hours). Saturday's game vs Stanford is a 10pm broadcast start, however.

I do make sure to tune into Northwestern to watch Cam Mitchell. Probably the most technically sound DB Brook has produced in memory. At least since Todd Howard.
