Biggest Question facing Brother Rice this fall?

Can the Crusaders live up to the preseason hype? The Crusaders will welcome back a stacked roster loaded with experience and who was able to bring several underclassmen names around this past spring COVID impacted season. While the CCL/ESCC Blue conference is stacked every year, the make-up of the conference will features several teams who will graduate very strong and deep senior classes this spring. If the Crusaders can stay healthy and fill in at a few key spots (wide receiver)

Impact Player for Brother Rice Senior: QB Jack Lausch. Lausch, who is also a standout baseball player for the Crusaders is a talented signal caller and a true dual threat for the Rice offense. Lausch will be asked to again lead the Crusaders offense with both his very capable arm along with having great running ability. When Lausch is on, the Crusaders can be as strong of an offense as anyone in Chicagoland.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Brother Rice Crusaders: Brother Rice and head coach Brian Badke played a ton of underclassmen this past spring and look for the Crusaders to be one of the top teams to watch in Chicagoland this coming fall football season. The offense has some speed and explosiveness along with experience and good size upfront on the offensive line. The Rice defense welcomes back an experienced group and if the Crusaders can develop some additional depth this summer they can make a run for a state title this fall.

Game to Watch this Fall? At Marist....and why not? The annual South Side Super Bowl is always the best game in town.
