ESL made all extra point kicks and 35 yd field goal . Wow
That is by far the most impressive stat from that game.
On another note, as impressive as Bond was kicking, cretes coaching staff was equally unimpressive. They turned franklin into a complete non factor. After he was their most impressive player last year
Thats true. But last year he was the qb and he was able to run out of some of those pressures. Franklin also appeared to be a much better passer. I knew he wasnt the qb this year, but im shocked at how much better he is compared to stennis. As a hc, your job should be putting the ball in your best playmakers hands as much as possible. They didnt even run any wildcat sets for him
Yeah he was the QB last year. But when you have db's and linebackers who can pursuit to the ball as quickly as they can. You won't be able to do those things. If you go back and listen to the game from the Semi-Final last year. You hear Crete-Monee fans saying. This play. That play. Has been working all year. He was running for his life last year. They were waiting to see if he was going to do the punt fake. Heck. I was in the stands calling the plays. They over powered them.
Im not disagreeing with any of that. I also believe that ultimately it likely would have made no difference in the outcome of the game this year. But from a Crete HC perspective, he has to be more involved in the offense, regardless of how overmatched your team is. They atleast scored 2 TDs last year. Largely because he touched the ball every offensive play.
Would have loved to see this ESL defense against the MC offense this year

If they end up playing prairie ridge, they will give up some points. Lemont has a very good offense too so they likely will get something.
Id love to see it but it would be a tall task. They have held their playoff shutout through the quarters this year...one week longer than last. I believe lemont was the first team to score on them in the playoffs last year too
