A few days ago on X.com, I saw a post from Pops Battle and I was concerned. I knew the portal opens soon and I was bummed he might be moving on.


Then this AM, his is congratulating each of the three Flyers who will be joining him across the river: Ke'Andre McClendon, Christopher Bennett Jr. and Larevious Woods.

In addition to this D1 trio, defensive back Charles Bass (Missouri) and TaRyan Martin (Kent State) also made it official and signed today.

They have really developed a nice pipeline to ESL. Most fans of p5 schools talk about that but its really unrealistic where a single hs can produce that many high level recruits. Much more feasible for a D1 newcomer in the OVC.
