Do over

1993 - remove the Belvidere cheat codes
1996 - utilize the 6'6 WR more to open it up for Harris
2006 - Dale Martin injury
2009 - dominated 1st half; fell apart 2nd half vs DGS (when we were still DGS)
2012 - Bailey injury
2017 - QB injured week 9; capable backup given no quality snaps all season

Theyre like Lays cant choose just one

Imagine beating JCA, Richards, the team that beat MC, Providence then getting to the dance, and the team you play is using cheat codes to win 😒
If I’m not mistaken they had a TD called back on a questionable call & some goals chances to hit some field goals but didn’t kick

1985 Tinley Park. If Steve Maslan plays & plays QB a great possibility they win state 2 years in a row. Brian Wise at WR instead of QB.

Bold thought. However, recalling that the '86 Champs were overwhelmingly dominated by seniors, most of whom went both ways, I wonder if everyone would have be ready a season earlier to go to the top.

However, if they were using regulation high school goal posts, they would not have beaten JCA in round 1 ;)

Care to expand on that?
That De La Salle team he referenced that lost to my Beloved...

We beat JCA in rd 1 (using perfectly fine goalposts 😏), beat Providence in rd 2 (their 4 year streak would start the following year), beat nationally ranked Richards in rd 3, beat that De La Salle team (that beat MC) in rd 4...

Only to get to Belvidere who had ⬆️⬆️⬇️⬇️⬅️➡️⬅️➡️ B A select start

All.... Coach Pottinger's run offense was like nothing I have ever seen. Those rb's so close to the OL they looked like they belonged on the line. Throw in quick snaps, hiding the ball, killing time, and going on fourth down . Never want to see that again. Ratsy

I think I speak for most & wish we can do over the state playoffs. Start in 1967 & have 8 classes & 32 teams. Schools like Joliet East,Decatur Lakeview,Bloom Trail & others had good teams who would have gotten in a few times. Even Kelly High & Mendel

Just no. You definitely don't speak for me. 8 classes is still too many.

All they had to do was take knees the game was over WWS had no time outs and there was only 1:27 left in the game.

I was on the tower filming that game. Crazy ending where it seemed like everyone lost their minds in the excitement, even the refs. There were three WWS players in motion when they spiked the ball to stop the clock with .7 seconds left for the field goal attempt. But I wouldn’t expect too many refs would have wanted to take over the ending of that game.
