HC QB1 looks good, has passing TD and running TD, many completions and nice scrambles. Ppl should start taking notice.

DGN playing really hard. Chippy game. DGN O put together a really nice drive at end of Q2 and HC will have to make adjustments.

Fwiw maybe best HC DB had to miss game because of the scheduling conflict as he had prior obligations elsewhere today. So first start for this junior safety and he’s got Cassens rumbling down like a truck. Welcome to WSS kid.

Cassens is great to watch, he’s making huge hits both sides of ball. Glad to have him in the WSS.

What a game. DGN scored a late touchdown featuring Cassens scrambling and taking off for huge runs as HC went into prevent.

The depth of HC’s defense being tested as they were down 3, and at times they were being run all over, much like last week. That is not good news with York and GW Looking. They need to figure some things out.

The good news is that the offense had a breakout performance and QB1 Michael Brescia might break some scoring records.
That’s an above average offense.

DGN is a great team and I hope they make 7A. Cassens is a serious athlete and I think he could play LB at a high D1 level.

Very chippy game. Very hard hitting. WSS Classic.

The two have played for this going back to 1935. Hinsdale has 50 wins, dominating through the legendary Harvey Dickinson era of the 50s into the late 60s. DGN won it for the 31st time yesterday, and BTW the Trojans snapped a 15 game losing streak to Hinsdale going back to '04. There have been 3 ties the last time in 1969 when they tied 21-21. Ken Koranda played on a few of those mid 60s Hinsdale teams that were very dominant at the time under Dickinson..

According to Hinsdale Central twitter...the Old Oaken spit Bucket goes to Hinsdale thanks to Nick Franko Harris. Apparently he make an immaculate catch in the game. The DeFranko Family is very proud. Heartbeat, It's a Lovebeat!!!
