Congrats to the Kahoks for the victory but the 9-1 record is misleading. They left the swc and filled their sched with 3a opponents.

To be fair, the IHSA playoffs began in 1974 so it would be 48-years.

Nevertheless, I don’t think anyone expected them to beat B-B so there must be something there to compete.

I honestly thought Jacobs was a slight favorite last week. BR won the lines of scrimmages handily. I agree w McCaravan:

The Kahoks most impressive win by far was this week’s over Bradley. Richardson and Bagwell are the mainstays for Collinsville

Collinsville scored two touchdowns very early and hung on for the win. BB was very inconsistent and played like they could score at any time. Very similar to the year LWE came down and took OFallon for granted. This should be a running clock based on the strength of the CCL.

Tough to compare Collinsville using the above video and the BR-Jacobs video via NFHS - the latter being far away. Collinsville seems competent at the very least in the above game.

Collinsville puts on a fantastic production for their games.

Perspective, Rice had 4 losses ... RIta advanced in 7A, Loyola advanced in 8A, MC advanced in 7A and Marist advanced in 8A. Tough competition to say the least. Are they State winning caliber, no not this year but they played the better and did okay and deserve their shot.

Relatively healthy for week 11. I believe only regular starter definitely out is still the TE who’s done for the season.

Great news as there is some depth at TE but can't afford to lose the middle of the defense. Appreciate the update.
