Week 1 is in the books and judging by some of the scores I'm not the only Clown in this game, some of you guys need to pick it up. Week 2 will be a good one with lots of old rivalries from past conferences being played

8-Glenbard North @ Naperville North NN is going to light up the GBN secondary and they also have a really good RB as well
7-Providence @ Wheaton North Wheaton North should win by 2 TD's. They're really good and I am hoping they win by way more than that. I'll admit my bias against the Catholic league is strong, but I still think WN will take care of business.
6-St Charles North @ Lake Zurich SCN for sure with this 2025 QB and lots of other talent.
5-Batavia @ Oswego Oswego can beat anyone, but Batavia is too good to lose. Even if its away.
Kaneland @ Geneva Kaneland is a smaller school and not sure they can hang here.
3-Lake Park @ Lincolnway Central -No idea on this one either, LWC looked really bad in week 1.
2-Waubonsie Valley @ St Charles East I'm making it a rule of thumb to never bet on SCE to win.
1-Neuqua Valley @ WWS I don't even want to pick this game. Could go either way...Probably 2 of the best offenses in the state. Week 1 injuries could be a factor, but this is the game of the week for sure. Mennecke, Sessa, Larkin, and their Kicker P. DOmiske is back after not playing most of the 1st game. Pickem on this one. Neuqua needs this win more than WWS due to their upcoming schedule which is very tough. (St. Marys of STL)

Who else remember when St. Charles/ Waubonsie was one of the top rivalries in the state, routinely playing in front of a 10k standing room only crowd?

Both were big schools around 3000 kids back then.

It seems to me the biggest problem Oswego had last week was dealing with a mobile QB who could make plays when the pocket broke down, Batavia doesn’t have that capability. I think Batavia wins but the match up is much more favorable for Oswego’s defense.

Absolutely, I think Batavia is the clear favorite but I don't think they are the best option of those games. I don't know anything about STE, but I heard nothing good about WV last week.

I think it's more recency bias than anything else. Batavia has been winning more big matchups than Oswego. Personally, I put the game lower because I still think Oswego keeps it close if not winning outright.

You are correct, WV O is really bad. That being said, STE is all around not very good either.

Depends what time you go, I would say 530 is a good time to get there since they usually do have a Friday rush and you will also get a pre game crowd there. You should be fine but if it’s packed you can always go to Arrowhead they have good bar and a solid menu plus a really solid milf crowd.

Hit me up I’m usually in the South end zone for the Soph game before moving to my spot in the stands for the Varsity.

Played Arrowhead yesterday. I really like the track.

I’ll probably go to Al’s around 4:30 and get the order in. I like to get to the stadium early and take it all in.

Best place to park?
