Clown Cup Season 2 ( Dukane Week 4)

Anyone see that game? Was it as close as the score indicates?

I’m curious how good GBN really is because they beat STCE rather handily last week.

Didn’t see that game but I saw GBN week 2. Their o-line is massive. QB is good and receivers and can go get it. RB is good, second RB is small but tough to bring down.

Defense is just ok. Secondary is decent with playmakers and good speed. D line isn’t great so running the ball can be had against them.

Like I’ve said before. They are better. Whether that means 4-5 wins remains to be seen. I could see them sneak into the playoffs.

GBN has played NV, Warren, SCE and Batavia
So has the quality of their opponents better or equal or have they gotten better

Neuqua won @ GBN 27-10. Don’t know what that means in this discussion but GBN always plays us tough.

So I was traveling on Friday night and did not see the STCE vs WWS game. Love to hear a report from @ClownBaby on what each team did well and failed to do well.

I do know that Batavia blocked a field goal at the end of regulation that would have tied the game.

WWS was flat and looked terrible I think playing their first four games on the road caught up with them. They finished up with 4 turnovers, 7 dropped passes and 2 fumbles and few bad penalties muffed snaps that killed drives. If that wasn’t bad enough they also managed blow 14 point lead. The Tigers best DL was out so they were forced to play some kids both ways and they wore down so they need to get him back. Overall this game will help them in the long run but it was brutal to watch.

StE on the other hand played a much cleaner game and didn’t beat themselves, they also took advantage of the miscues WWS had and outplayed them. The Soph QB for East is stud and is no doubt a D1 player.

I’m still picking WWS to beat Batavia this pile of doo doo may have actually been timed right for them.

Yea that WWS v Batavia game is still the one to watch.

Phillips has moved from 6A to 7A per this week's IHSA state playoff outlook
