Week 3 is here and the conference season begins currently most of the field is still alive although if you're sitting at 12-4 or below you better get your act together quickly since the front of the pack is starting to pull away.

Batavia @ Lake Park-Batavia will flex their muscles this week again. Won't be close. 48-7
STE @ Glenbard North-This is almost a pickem, but I'm still going with the slight favorite. 21-14
WWS @ Geneva-Tigers take care of business again and will score 35-45 points. Week 5 on their calendar is now circled (vs. Batavia) 42-7
STN @ Wheaton North-We all know SCN isn't a premier team, but they're a little better than WN. 24-17

Batavia - big

Glenbard North
- they are due

WWS
- too much offense

Wheaton North
- in a low scoring game. X factor!

The falcons seem to be pretty good, but I don't see them jumping past Chuck N. This seems like it will be the only good game of the week though

Batavia 38-12
- It’s going to be a long season for the Lancers

GBN 22-20
- The step down in competition does the Panthers good as the losing streak ends in a close one.

WWS 44-13
- “Browns pass completed to Clousing” get used to hearing that phrase for the next two years. Tigers break 40 for the 3rd week in a row.

Wheaton North 21-17
- Xander goes off and StN struggles on offense.

From just having seen GBN, they are much improved. They throw it a lot and can be use the QB is good. His receivers are good.

Don’t know how this translates into results but they are clearly better than last year.

Batavia - there is no doubt here.

STE - Saints squeak one out on the road. GBN lost to a couple really good teams so East has their hands full in this one.

WWS - another no doubter.

STN - Game of the week. Will be very close but a "just good enough" North Star team pulls this out on the road.
