Class 5A ? Now that the Multiplied Catholic Hoarde have been "successed" out of 5A and Peoria moved up via enrollment to 6A...also Morris dropping down to 4A....this class looks about as wide open as I-72 on a state holiday.

Others to consider?
Hillcrest- had a nice run in 2016 but can they keep it going under first year HC Malcolm Weaver?
Solorio- Solorio has the state top QB and some speed and skills...but can they hang with the bigger boys in the CPL?
Centralia- Javon Williams Jr under center gives the Orphans a chance
Decatur MacArthur- the Brummett twins are legit but can they escape the CS8 slate?
Oak Forest- lots of starters back
Antioch- the Sequoits also have a nice core of starters back
Jacksonville- Crimsons always find a way to score points...also see CS8 comments above
First to fall/makes me a bit nervous? First off literally no one is safe here...just wanted to get that out of the way...
Sterling- I obviously like the Golden Kids along but this program also has never been past the quarterfinal round so
JCA- because this was still a 1-8 team a season ago and the schedule is brutal, but if these guys go 5-4 do you want to see them in Round 1?
Glenbard South- again the schedule is not easy here
