CG 30 Senn 0 4:31 left 1st Q

Interesting do they pull up the entire JV team for the playoffs or are you just being a silly calling the 2nd string J
It’s a mix. Some of the 2nd string offense starts on D, so not complete of either. Ex: 2nd sting QB is starting DB, so Freshman QB is playing.

58-6 at half according to Max Preps and they decided not to report anymore. Yikes.

I believe for playoffs, CG moves up their sophomore/jv team and have their 10 “better” freshmen players move up as well for the experience. I’m not sure if it’s the whole sophomore team or only 10 players.

Doesn’t make sense to kneel every play starting the 3rd quarter, most of the starters if not all weren’t playing anymore by then

Sorry boys it was a joke! About 15 years ago on this site, people would say that Maine South needs to take a knee! It’s the playoffs, fair game! Good luck to CG!
I’d never seen a CG score like that but also don’t think they went out of their way to rub it in. A lot of underclassmen had an opportunity to play by the second quarter and they’re gonna play. One score was a freshman and it was probably huge for him. It’s unfortunate for the Senn team to experience that and a crappy bus ride home.

I heard coach Ludwig(CG coach and ad)bought the whole senn team pizza after the game

At some point, something needs to be done for the CPS schools that want and are able be in the playoffs. Maybe base their class on helmet count rather than enrollment? IDK, but the CG game and others have no business being played. No good comes out of it.

I lived in Edgewater back in the 90’s and had I stayed my kids would have gone to Senn. Funny how things work out.

I live just north of Senn in Rogers Park. It could use some maintenance and a good cleaning, but I love that building, walk/ride my bike past it often.
