All.... Here we go again. Bremen (4-4) leads Hillcrest (6-2) 28-0 in the third quarter according to scorestream. This will mess up the latest seed projections including the 5A South. Ratsy

How so? Hillcrest is in and will be north in 5A. Bremen is solidly in 6A if they win and get in. Would that cause the smallest 6A school to go 5A?

That’s why they are projections. They are useless until after game 9. This game could have been played in week 5 and no one would have cared.

All.... Soucie had them in the south playing MacArthur at home round one. That will change. Ratsy

How does Bremen winning effect 5A? Does it push the smallest 6A team into 5A?
Not 100% sure, but if a team that wasn’t initially projected actually gets in, it will have a ripple effect. I didn’t see Bremen in Soucie latest projections so they have to go in there and someone else has to move out of 6A.
With all the potential 4-5 teams that also are getting in, I have no idea.
But it’s fun and kinda exciting

Agree, Bremen getting in takes out one of the 4-5 teams and last I saw LP was the the last team in, so they would be out and they were in 5A.

All.... Correct if those 4-5 projections are right. 34-0 the final by the way. Ratsy

Loyola/MC game shouldn't impact whether Marist makes it. Both teams are in.
Marist sits at #5 on the 4-5 list and really cannot move up the list with 252 spots accounted for

They are right now #257 out of 256 and cannot move up only move down

Taft loses to go 3-6, and they get a point from Loyola they are in.

There are 252 spots filled with 4 openings

Plainfield North is 4th at 49 and would be above Marist at 48 (with the Loyola win)

Naz is 1st at 56, Glenbrook South is 2nd at 52, and Sterling is 3rd at 50

Naz & GBS are in
Taft would get in above Sterling with a win
Sterling gets in with a Taft loss

PN needs a Noble/Golder loss and a Taft loss

Marist will be first team out or second team out

I’m trusting Souc on this. It’s available on Twitter.

See Soucie's tweet.

Soucie is right. Noble/Golder's conference can only have a maximum of four qualifiers like he said per CPL rules. A 5-4 Noble/Golder with a win makes 5 so either they don't make it or they remove one of the other 5-4s already in.
