Darrion Dupree is no surprise to McCaravan and some other observers, but this highlight film of his freshman year should open a few eyes.

Rochester’s Seth Parkinson has a good chance of being Hank Beatty’s go-to Receiver. He has good size and speed and did well in the short spring season. With Beatty’s arm strength and running ability, watch for more long passes than usual from Rochester this fall.

Not a complete surprise because they have been trending in the right direction, I expect Jacksonville to make the 5A playoffs for the first time since 2016. If they can beat Chatham and/or Springfield, 6 or 7 wins is doable. They have a Junior QB who started this spring and really improved.

I like Zach Wilson but think the Jets are not the ideal team for him. Too much NY media scrutiny, he had an injury history at BYU and the Jets do not have a good OL.

Offense stinks, it’s a fundamental mess, from schemes to play calling to personnel there really isn’t anything to like about the job he’s done. That’s to be expected by someone who was passed over 3 times for that job. He was even demoted from varsity OC to Soph coach before stumbling into HC job because his predecessor left right before the season.

That’s the PC version. I’ve had some pops but I’ll refrain from sharing the rest. He’s very close to losing the program, may already have.
