De La Salle not getting in? Interesting
De La Salle not getting in? Interesting
DLS needs one win in their next four games to finish at 5-4 and get in with sufficient playoff points. With remaining games against Montini (A), MC (@ Rita), Marmion (A), and Fenwick (@ Rita), I would say that the Meteors are 'dogs in all those games. The game against MC might as well be a home game for MC since Rita is much closer to MC than DLS. Among those four games, which one do you think is the most likely for DLS to pull an upset?
If you want to talk interesting, that last game with Fenwick could be for all the playoff marbles for both teams.
6A - The only real drama is which team from the South gets the runner-up trophy. Interesting to see which team can hold down Peoria's scoring.
5A -If it plays out, would feature a semi-final between Sterling and Phillips, the winner to be odds-on favorites to win that class.
4A - To discuss anyone other than Rochester is useless.
This is what is known as a mistake on my part.....Picky question: It appears you have both Rockford Auburn and Rockton Hononegah finishing with one loss (they are both seeded below 1 loss LWC) yet both are 5-0 and play each other. Best team on both team's remaining schedules is Harlem. Do you have Harlem at 3-2 beating the winner of the Auburn /Hononegah game? That seems like the only way to get to both being seeded below LWC.
Yeah, one of the wrinkles of the Week 5 projection....I agree any of those games could be wins, but for stacking purposes I can't just speculate well, they'll probably get one of those.De La Salle not getting in? Interesting
Yeah, you are seeing what I have right now.Hey Souc, why ya gotta go an break Voodoo's heart by suggesting his WV team won't make the playoffs. Do you have them losing to WN in Week 9 to keep them out?
BTW- I'm a little obsessed with Seeing WV so GW can drop to 7A

One of the weekly themes this time of year. Is GW 7a or 8a. And is Batavia 6a or 7a.You do yeoman's work here big man and we all appreciate your work. Wasn't trying to play gotcha.
I am trying to do some what ifs with GW going 7A after WV picks up a 5th win.
I know. I don't mind people pointing them out when they see them...it happens, especially in Week 5.You do yeoman's work here big man and we all appreciate your work. Wasn't trying to play gotcha.

Appreciate it. Don’t think it agree but after laying an egg last week anything is possible.
And Maine West should run the table in the CSL North
Coach Kradman has done an amazing job of building the program over the last 4 years... there is a 1 Div 1 recruit as a Senior and probably 2 more as Juniors.... with a very athletic Sophomore class coming up, it could be a nice run for a few years! Thanks for noticing the good things going on in Des Plaines! If they do win out and finish at 8-1, this will be their best season since they went 8-0 in 1959. Good to see the Warriors experiencing success.
If they can get a playoff win, it will be their first.
Nice story developing in Des Plaines.
I can see that. But especially early in the process I lean a little more on history when I don't have the full run of the data. You'll definitely see a shift if they continue to "prove" it to me.Souc,
Great job as always. I think the MSL is not quite going to fall as you feel it will. And Maine West should run the table in the CSL North

That makes complete sense and they do need to prove it one week at a time... will be interesting to see the results of each team head-to-head now.... Two games on the road for Maine West also, at Vernon Hills and at Highland Park...I can see that. But especially early in the process I lean a little more on history when I don't have the full run of the data. You'll definitely see a shift if they continue to "prove" it to me.
