Althoff v Camp Point 58-19 1.17 4q. Althoff

If reports coming from CP have someone in the BBQ area telling one specific fan to "Suck a D ..." well, he was chanting "Bought and Paid For" as he walked past us. Not my fault.

Althoff played excerpts over the PA of an interview the CP coach gave about Althoff not belonging in 1A and recruiting but that they only needed to shut down Dierre and they would be fine. Ooops ....

All.... Back from this game. Crusader I missed you! Arrived at tailgate heaven at 10:30 and I saw soda pops in peoples hands already. Tv', burn pits warming people, big tents all over and my favorite portable bathrooms. 👍

Met a gent that came into the distict from I believe from O'fallon. that now has a son on the the team. A freshman. He was one of the cooks that after asking him had grilled 200 wings and didn't work up a swat. Haa

And it got even better. Making the rounds early down the way some hard cores (that knew you) were parked next to me. So we are all sharing stories and they say here comes Father York. He stopped by and I met him. Cool dude.

Hung around in the tailgate area till your Coach came down for a talk to the tailgaters which I understand is a tradition. That is great. As he is walking up the hill with his assistant (the rat can't help himself self) I yelled SHG folks say rock them hard. He turned arounded and acknowledged which I had said had to be was umm... garbled.

Bugged out in quarter 3 Young Mr. Hill is amazing. Interesting that two db's and a safety can't close on him once he breaks the line. The only weakness I see with the Crusadars is pass defense. This game would of been early over early except for that and I could of bugged out early in the second quarter. lol Run defense is stout! Ratsy

I looked all over for you! Those were the "whitest" wings I ever had - almost like they were boiled ... seasoning anyone? Anyway, was right in front for Austin's pre-game with the fan. Was in the BBQ pit for the game. Wearing the Packer's zip up as I had mentioned. I did not see you ... dammit!!!!

After DECADES of not having a field on campus, they do a nice job with the tailgates. Like you said, tents, TVs for all of the college games, burn pits all over, food galore ... and this is Belleville, so, of course, we are drinking breakfast. The BBQ pit area on the east end of the field had TVs as well - and always some non-menu items, like steak bites, carne asada and chicken for tacos. A couple of weeks ago there was a huge pile of shrimp.

I am glad you enjoyed but I wished to have met you. NET wanted me to say Hello to you.

All..... Passing ships another day! Father York who I mentioned earlier if I recall correctly (lol) came by with a wheel barrel of yard work to drop it somewhere. Now there are eight of us standing around with pops in hand close by. He smiled after I mentioned I'm a Springfield Catholic that had come to watch this game an proceeded about his business. Cool.... Ratsy
