Not an expert but looking like ND vs Iggy in the quarters and winner Vs Prairie Ridge in the semis. Prairie Ridge to the final Vs ESL. Flyers on a mission this year and win it.

PR won’t make it to finals. Their defense gives up too many. Gave up 90 in the last 2 games against CL South and CL Central.

Lemont is a much better team than they were last year. If they get to host the semis, they have a great shot at winning it all. North bracket is nothing exciting. PR is not your Samson Evans PR. The South bracket is loaded and that's where your champion comes from.

edited: I meant to say Lemont hosting the semis (not the quarters) since that's when they would see the Flyers.

Normal West (8-1) jumped out at me too. Only loss was at Richmond Burton and they get ESL round 2..... gee thanks IHSA lol 😂

Can anyone who doesn’t run a slight of hand offense have a chance to go mano a mano with ESL?

I'd pay for Lemonts travel expenses if i can avoid going back there to watch them play esl

Can anyone give any inside info on NND and Iggy? I see everyone assuming they are the teams to beat in that quarter section, and the north isn't scary compared to the south, but what's their story? Just solid teams or do they have some studs?

Trust and believe. This is redemption year for East Side. They're not looking past anyone. Even last year they didn't. It was the media picking them. That has to be one of the best games I've seen in a while. You want a good game. Two teams battling down to the final possession. That one point defeat to Cary Grove in the championship game still stings. Everybody is 0-0. 1 out of these 32 teams will have a 5-0 record come November 26.

Holy cow I just looked at the bracket. The north bracket….:woof. There are four teams from the south that would likely handle 15 of the 16 north teams with little to no problem.

simeon, ESL, and Crete all get to beat each other to take on lemont in a semi.

winner of that takes on prairie ridge in Champaign.

I know you have to play the games, but there seems to be just one team from the north that could hang with the top four in the south.

I am intrigued by the possibility of Simeon or lemont hanging with ESL. Will be curious to see if the flyers get tested. Would love to see Simeon win a title and lemont is long overdue.

I think I’m rooting for Simeon here.

Agree on most counts, but I am not sure PR is the best in the in the North. Their defense has been like a sieve lately. And not just when playing good teams.

What does this bracket look like if it had been 1-32?
