Impact Player for Prospect
Prospect senior WR Nathan Cichy is a big and physical kid who has the tools to play at a pretty high level next fall. Cichy, who is listed at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds has great hands and runs strong routes and will be asked to provide leadership and production again in 2025.
Looking for a sleeper name to watch for Prospect? Keep an eye on Prospect senior DE Connor Curran along with junior QB Jackson Cacini this fall.
EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2025 Prospect Knights
Prospect and head coach Dan DeBoeuf has built the Knights into a consistent winner having led the Knightds into the IHSA state playoff field in 6 straight seasons in his tenure. The Knights posted a 7-2 regular season, won the Mid Suburban East conference crown over rival Hersey and also defeated Hersey twice in 2024. The Knights will welcome back a nice core of experienced starters as 12 names return this fall (6 offense 6 defense) and again this program just seems to find a way to reload year in and year out. Look for Prospect to again lead the pack in the Mid Suburban East and to again make the IHSA state playoff field in 2025.
The biggest question facing Prospect this summer?
Can the Knights reload at a handful of key positions and keep up it's winning ways this season? Prospect no question graduated some key names this spring from the 2024 season including multi-year starting QB Jack Skoog who generated a ton of offensive production last fall. If the Knights can reload at QB/OL/DL/LB/RB they will no question have yet another successful season and another post-season run in 7A.
Preseason Ranking? 2025 Preseason Class 7A Top 10 and Chicagoland Top 30 poll consideration.
