Impact Player for Nazareth Academy
Year in and year out you'll be hard pressed to find a program with as much talent, especially in the skills department than Nazareth Academy. One of the bigger storylines for Nazareth Academy this summer will be how to replace two huge graduation losses (QB Logan Malachuk and DE Gabe Kaminski), yet I feel another lesser story is what the Road Runner bring back this fall. Keep an eye on senior WR Trenton Walker who is a Power 4 caliber name along with senior WR Jake Crestone who has D1 level ability.
Looking for a sleeper name to watch for Nazareth Academy? Keep an eye on junior DT Luke Injaychock who has added several offer already along with Power 4 attention this winter and spring. Nazareth Academy senor OL Nate Sefcik (6-foot-4, 275 pounds) is another experienced linemen name to watch here.
EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2025 Nazareth Academy Road Runners
Nazareth Academy and veteran head coach Tim Racki has won back to back to back 5A state titles and will move "up" to Class 6A in 2025. The road to another state title will be a challenge in 6A...yet this is also a very strong team that year in and year out is as battle tested as any team in the state. Nazareth Academy regardless of class will always be in the hunt for a state title and I expect that again in 2025.
The biggest question facing Nazareth Academy this summer?
Can the Road Runner replace a handful of major impact starters and keep winning another state title in 2025? Nazareth will need to replace QB Logan Malachuk (Central Missouri) and DE/OLB Gabe Kaminski (Stanford) from the 2024 state championship team as both kids started for the Road Runner for all four seasons. No question just the sheer overall on the field production from both kids is immense...but this program always seems to find a way.
