Bremen senior LB BJ Lewis is one of a handful of names to watch this season for Bremen. Lewis, who will be a multi-year starter this fall for the Braves will be asked to provide both production and leadership this coming fall for the Braves.
Looking for a sleeper name to watch for Bremen? Bremen senior LB Nemo Rodgers is another name to watch this fall who is expected to lead a defense that welcomes back 5 starters from a season ago.
EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2025 Bremen Braves
Bremen and then first year head coach Connor Downs struggled in Year 1 after taking the Braves job from Hall of Fame Coach Dan Stell and wound up posting an 0-9 season in 2024. Look for the Braves to continue to build up and improve the overall numbers and talent at all levels this summer. Bremen missed the 2024 IHSA state playoffs after making four straight playoff appearances, so hopefully the Bremen football program won't take too long to bounce back.
The biggest question facing Bremen this summer?
Can the Braves reload and get back to it's winning ways starting this season? Again the 2024 0-9 season finish for Bremen was a bit of a surprise just from the aspect that the Braves had been a relatively winning programs in the recent past. Again for Bremen this is a program that has talent in the building in most seasons and hopefully the newer coaching staff can rally the troops and get back to winning games this fall. The two non conference games are solid but not overwhelming in my opinion and hopefully Bremen can get off to a good early start this fall.
