Impact Player for Montini Catholic
Montini Catholic junior QB Izzy Abrams ism already a top ranked name in the Class of 2027 who continues to climb up the recruiting rankings this summer. Abrams has the physical tools and look (6-foot-4, 190 pounds) to become a Power 4 level signal caller. Abrams already is holding multiple Power 4 offers this summer and look for his overall stock to soar this fall.
Looking for a sleeper name to watch for Montini Catholic? Montini Catholic senior RB/SS Isaac Alexander is a two way starter and also an impact player and leader for Montini Catholic this summer. Alexander is an impressive between the tackles runner along with a quick and very physical finisher in the Montini defense.
EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2025 Montini Catholic Broncos
Montini Catholic is seeking to repeat as state champions this fall after winning the Class 3A state title in 2024 posting a 12-2 record. The Broncos won a memorable Round 2 showdown in 2024 with Byron 14-13 then never looked back in winning the 3A state title. The Broncos welcome back a nice core of starter and some key impact performers and despite getting "moved up" to Class 4A this coming season...loom for the Broncos to challenge for a state title this fall. Again just getting 5 wins for Montini Catholic playing in the CCL White schedule plus additional CCL crossover games is a huge challenge every season and this will be the case again this fall.
The biggest question facing Montini Catholic this summer?
Can the Broncos move up in class and win another state title? Look for the Broncos to get tested all regulkar season long and the tough schedule will no question test this Montini team heading into the post-season. Class 4A will no doubt bring potential pitfalls (Morris/Dixon/Rochelle/Coal City/Mt. Zion) but Montini will be able to match up with all comers here. I loo for the Broncos to post say a 7-2/6-3 regular season record then make a potentially deep run in 4A.
