2022 Team 7on7 or Team Summer Camp?
TBA
Impact Player for St. Rita:
Senior DE Patrick Farrell (6-foot-5, 240 pounds). The 2022 Mustangs will be a team with a strong foundation on both sides of the football, and no one exemplifies that strong, solid foundation more than Pat Farrell. Farrell, who has developed into a Power 5 recruit this off-season will be asked to anchor a Mustangs defense and become a leader both on and off the field for this squad in 2022. Farrell is also an impressive athlete who could also be used on either side of the football if needed this fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the St. Rita Mustangs:
The Mustangs have been to back to back state title games and will seek to keep it's winning ways going in 2022. The graduation losses will be costly especially in the offensive skills department with the loss of the likes of RB Kaleb Brown (Ohio State), QB Tommy Ulatkowski (Kent State) plus OL Valen Erickson (Missouri). However, the Mustangs also welcome back experienced talent upfront on the offensive line along with several key names on the defensive side of the football. No question St Rita will need to find answers this summer at a few key spots (QB/WR/DB) yet the4 program has impressive young talent. The early schedule is simply brutal (MC/BR/Loyola) and the Mustangs could very well end up with a Week 7 forfeit win (Week 7 is open via Marian Central Catholic departure)...yet do NOY count this team out of anything. This St Rita team will be again in contention for a state title this fall.
