Impact Player for Glenwood:

Senior QB Jack Knudson (6-foot-1, 165 pounds) is a multi-year starter and an impact performer for the Titans. Knudson will again be asked to provide leadership on and off the field this season for a Glenwood program looking to make a big move in the CS8 and beyond.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Glenwood Titans:

The Titans (6-4) made the 2021 Class 6A state playoff field and lost to Crete-Monee in opening round action to finish the season. Glenwood will welcome back some impressive names this fall including 8 starters back on offense. The offensive line and the skills positions will be a strength, and the biggest question for the Titans is can they reload on defense, including reloading on the defensive line and at linebacker.

Knudson played well last year before being injured and lost for the season in Week 7. He has a good arm and his top 3 receivers return. Blaise has played both RB and WR for the Titans and is very fast. He may not have the ideal size to be an every down RB. I’ll be interested to see if Helm plays on the DL as well to provide the defense with some additional size and athleticism.

The Week 1 game with Jacksonville will be very important. The winner has an excellent chance of going at least 7-2 and getting a home playoff game. Chatham has historically had an advantage over Jacksonville but this should be a close game as the Crimson return 3-year starting QB Elijah Owens and RB Cam’ron Mitchell.
