Impact Player for Bloomington Central Catholic:

Sophomore QB Colin Hayes (6-foot-6, 205 pounds). Hayes is a big, strong and pretty athletic signal caller who showed really well on video from last season. Look for the Saints to get Hayes more and more involved in the offensive attack this fall and Hayes will no question draw plenty of recruiting attention.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints:

The Saints (4-5) just missed making the 2021 IHSA state football playoff field, and played well in every game and came up just short in a handful of key losses. With an impressive 17 returning starters back this fall (9 offense 8 defense) look for the Saints to have a real shot at winning the Illini Prairie conference along with getting looks as a Top 10 ranked team in various preseason state team polls.
