Biggest Question facing Rochelle this fall?
How much of an impact will the Hubs moving into the newly aligned Kishwaukee River/Interstate 8 conference this fall? Rochelle and head coach Kyle Kissack will see the regular season schedule change quite a bit this season as the Interstate 8 conference will merge in with the Kishwaukee River conference this fall. Off the schedule are the likes of Morris, LaSalle-Peru, Sycamore and Ottawa from years past. In general? I have a feeling this new realignment will help out the Hubs overall schedule and improve it's chances to make the IHSA state playoff field.
Impact Player for Rochelle?
Junior RB/LB Garrett Gensler is a two way starter for the Hubs who will have a chance to become more on an impact player on both sides of the football this fall.
Game to Watch this Fall? Week 3 @ Richmond Burton
I just find this matchup potentially fascinating on a few different levels. Richmond Burton and Hall of Fame head coach Mike Noll plays physically, hard ground and pound football while the Hubs have been that same program for decades. Rochelle has played bigger sized schools for years and will now have a shot at schools like the Rockets who play a very similar style and are more similar in enrollment size.
