Biggest Question facing O'Fallon this fall?
Can the Panthers make a deep run for both the Southwestern conference and beyond this fall? O'Fallon posted a 3-1 record in the spring COVID shortened season and included a stunning upset win over top ranked East St. Louis 28-19. The Panthers welcome back a terrific core of starters on both sides of the football and will also welcome in some key names back into the school this summer. Look for the Panthers to have a terrific chance at challenging for the conference title along with having the makings of a quality state playoff team this fall.
Impact Player for O'Fallon
Junior QB Colt Michael was originally at OFallon, then transferred out to CBC for the fall season then has since transferred back into OFallon this summer. Michael, who is the younger brother of graduated O'Fallon QB Ty Michael is a very impressive quarterback who will draw serious FBS/FCS recruiting looks and potential offers. MIchael has all the tools and ability to lead this OFallon team deep into the post-season for the next two years.
Game to Watch this Fall? Week 5 @ East St.Louis
You can't go wrong with either East Side or Edwardsville as big games for O'Fallon. Yet the Flyers seem to get a lot of the headlines and national attention, even after O'Fallon beat East St. Louis last spring. The Southwestern conference looks to be an "up" year in my eyes and O'Fallon is in the thick of the pack.
