Biggest Question facing North Chicago this fall?
Can the Warhawks get get things turned around this fall and improve on it's 1-5 spring season? North Chicago will look to improve from a 1-5 spring season this fall, and the Warhawks have 15 returning starters back including 9 on defense. If the Warhawks can reload at a few key spots (QB/RB) they have the overall talent level to be competitive in the Northern Lake County conference.
Impact Player for North Chicago:
Senior OL/DL Curtis Norwood is a multi-year starter for North Chicago who will again be asked to play a key role and a leader on the Warhawks line play.
Game to Watch this Fall? Week 3 @ Antioch
The Warhawks have two early decent games, but if things go well they have a chance of being 2-0 heading into the Antioch game. Antioch has been one of the top tier teams in Northern Lake county for years and if the Warhawks plan to take the next step or two.....a strong showing against the Sequoits would be huge for the North Chicago program.
