Impact Player for Woodstock North: Senior RB/LB Andrew Pena. Pena, who was an all conference and all area performer for the Thunder in 2019 will be the lone returning starter back this coming season for Woodstock North. Pena is a key two way starter this fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Woodstock North Thunder: Woodstock North (4-5) just missed out on qualifying for the IHSA state playoff field in 2019 and two one touchdown losses to Harvard (14-7) and Marengo (28-21) no question played a huge role in the 4-5 finish. Look for Woodstock North to reload and the Thunder will no question have a lot of new faces, especially on the offensive side of the football in 2020/.
