Impact Player for Roxana: Senior WR Parris White. White, who is a multi-sport athlete will again be the Shells main threat on offense. White is a long, lanky receiver with impressive hands and speed. I look for White to continue to draw increased recruiting looks and attention this coming fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Roxana Shells: The Shells (5-5) made the Class 4A state playoff field in 2019 and lost to Columbia in opening round action. Look for the Shells and head coach Wade DeVries to reload behind a nice core of returning starters on both sides of the football. While the Shells generally are a run first team, look for the combination of QB Gavin Huffman to WR Parris White to get a ton of reps and touches in 2020.
