Impact Player for Effingham: Senior WR Tristan Duncan. Duncan was one of the top targets in 2019 for the Hearts. Duncan has impressive size and length and also possesses very strong ball skills and great hands. Look for Duncan to have the football in his hands as much as possible this coming fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Effingham Hearts: The Hearts (11-2) have been on an impressive three year run under Brett Hefner having posted records of 9-2 in 2017, 9-3 in 2018 and an 11-2 record in 2019. The Hearts will welcome back a nice core of experienced and talented starters on both sides of the football and should again be a factor in the Apollo conference race as well as in Class 4A in 2020.
