Impact Player for Crystal Lake South: Senior WR/DB Brock Jewson. Jewson, who was named as a an all conference player for the Gators in 2019 will be asked to again provide production on both sides of the football in 2020.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Crystal Lake South Gators: The Gators and head coach Rob Fontana made the 7A state playoff field in 2019 and lost to Deerfield in opening round action. Look for the Gators to make another run towards s repeat state playoff spot in 2020. Keep an eye on the offense in particular led by junior QB Justin Kowalak and WR Brock Jewson. The biggest question facing the Gators? Can they replace 4 graduated OL led by Miami of Ohio bound Dominic Collado?
