Linked is my Final State Wide 2019 Final Class 8A Top 10 poll. I'll start to break down Class 8A thru 5A Top 10 here and will list each class in a separate thread.
Also I generally use the final 2019 Class 8A thru 5A enrollment numbers/classes at this time of the year before IHSA releases the 2020 preseason class breakdown.

Party Crashers (unranked) who could crack the 2020 Preseason Class 8A Top 10 poll?
(in no particular order)
Oswego- The Panthers had a handful of close losses including a tough Round 2 31-30 loss to Bolingbrook in Class 8A to end the season. Oswego welcomes back some serious size and talent in 2020 including Boston College commit OT Otto Hess who leads a big strong and physical O line. Give Oswego size upfront and they will make some noise.
Huntley- The Red Raiders also bring back 14 returning starters (8 back on defense) and talent from a season ago. Senior QB Bruno Boseman is a name to watch along with senior DT Brad Walker Jr. and and is 2020 the year Huntley can make a deep run and noise inside and outside of the Fox Valley Conference?
Edwardsville- The Tigers always are in the mix in 8A along with the Southwestern conference and the Tigers will look towards standout RB Justin Johnson Jr. plus QB Ryan Hampton and junior DE Nasim Cairo.
Barrington- The Broncos are always a factor in the Mid Suburban West and also in Class 8A. Barrington will no question need to reload a bit this summer especially in the offensive skills with just one starter back in RB Bryan Smith. Yet this program is never short on talent and overall numbers.
Maine South- The Hawks always seem to find a way to reload. Senior QB Luke Leongas is the real deal and the Hawks are truly never in short supply of talent.
Fremd- The Vikings and head coach Lou Sponsel has a ton of talent back from last season's 8-3 team led by senior QB Ryan Saxe plus senior OL/DL Jack Walsh. Lookmfor the Vikes to also be in the hunt at the top of the Mid Sub West and get into the 8A field.
Hinsdale Central- Hinsdale Central saw an early end to the 2019 season with a loss to Bolingbrook in the 8A playoffs. The Red Devils welcome back 5 starters on offense and 4 on defense and senior QB Michael Brescia is a key along with senior TE Ryan Orput while the defense will rely on DL Jay Randle.
OPRF- The Huskies always have talent and the 2020 team will be pretty stacked. Senior QB/DB Jaden McGill will be a three year starter under center and also keep an eye on senior LB Naahlyee Bryant (WMU) plus senior WR/DB Jalen Bates (SIU). If the Huskies can reload on the offensive line then game on this season for OPRF.
Lockport- despite the 4-5 finish in 2019, this is a sleeping giant of a program that showed sign of coming to life last season. Lockport always has numbers and will bring back 14 returning starters from a season ago. Head coach George Czart has this program's attention and if Year 2 shows anywhere close to the momentum this programs had later in the season in 2019, do NOT be surprised to see the Porters knock off some higher profile names in 2020.
