Just like how last year this game was supposed to happen. Let the games play out.I know this board doesn't go lower classes much, but this game will happen. Does LW stand a chance being one dimensional?
As Camp Point Central walks by mumbling "don't we mean anything to you?"I know this board doesn't go lower classes much, but this game will happen. Does LW stand a chance being one dimensional?
We said this last year that Althoff would walk to a state title. I'm sure they have learned from prior mistakes. That said I do not think it'll be as easy for them as some think..As Camp Point Central walks by mumbling "don't we mean anything to you?"
That said, nah man.. Althoff gonna slap LW
I agree team is definitely better than last year. There is definitely depth. But if Hill’s injury is nagging even after being cleared and I’m assume resting this week vs Dupo but they look like a much different team with him and w/o himThis team is better than last year - all P5 guys are seniors and graduation hurt them none. The QB is a sophomore now - coming into his own. They play a true platoon, except for Coldon, but he is not in on every O snap - they have depth to spell him at WR. This is the first class Frazier has had since freshman year.
That said, you gotta play the game. Anomalies like the ABSOLUTE HORROR of repeated mistakes from the jump at Camp Point can happen. When you get down 30-to-Effin-Nothing in the first quarter, it just was not your day.
The boys KNOW they can be beaten by a 1A school, so I do not see them looking past anyone this year.
I don’t know what the issue is but I know it’s his shoulder or arm the rumor I heard was collarbone. Hope the kid can play.AGREED! Steven Brown was serviceable against Kaneland - that dude won't fumble again, he is a gamer. Hill is resting this week and if he has to rest against Casey, I think they will be fine there too. But, we shall see.
He COULD have played last week. They are just taking extra precautions and kid gloves with Dierre.
maybe. Definitely not the athletes or as explosive as teams when one thinks of 6A but they are well disciplined and well coached it seems. I think any power run team like a Lena could give them some issues. Just a hard question to answer given the differences in the teams they play vs what most normal 1A schools see.Honest question - do you think 6A Kaneland would win 1A this year?
To answer a question with a question.... Does Cary Grove? Of course Lena Winslow has a chance and most likely will win state.I know this board doesn't go lower classes much, but this game will happen. Does LW stand a chance being one dimensional?
Lena is at least a 14 point underdog vs AltouffTo answer a question with a question.... Does Cary Grove? Of course Lena Winslow has a chance and most likely will win state.
True that Hardin Calhoun, Greenfield, Routt, and Carrollton have history but CPC is the up and coming program of the WIVC. Brown County... not so much!I think the WIVC is slept on as a whole. Camp Point Central definitely opened some eyes last year, but they're usually the conference that gives us the title game representative from the southern portion of the bracket.
WIVC has good programs in CPC, Carrollton, Brown County, Calhoun, Routt Catholic, and Greenfield-Northwestern.
I have a little insight into this I don't know how much longer CPC is gonna be this dominant. That said the teams in the WIVC to watch imo for the next few years (after this one) are BC, Calhoun and WC. Moreso BC and Calhoun. CPC will still be good with that coaching staff in place but the talent level may not be what it once was.True that Hardin Calhoun, Greenfield, Routt, and Carrollton have history but CPC is the up and coming program of the WIVC. Agree to disagree, but since Tom Little took over 22 season ago Brown County has made the playoffs in 16 of those seasons. 09, 10, & 11 were their peak, but they're 50 games over .500% under Coach Little.True that Hardin Calhoun, Greenfield, Routt, and Carrollton have history but CPC is the up and coming program of the WIVC. Man, shoot... I thought you was dead the whole time.It might kill me!
The good ole boys in the endzone last year kept talking about their HOF coach (NOT DISPUTING) being there 20-some yeas, but when that talk starts happening, it is almost forecasting stepping down.I have a little insight into this I don't know how much longer CPC is gonna be this dominant. ...CPC will still be good with that coaching staff in place but the talent level may not be what it once was.
I need to get on the ChaptGPT predictive model tomorrow!Man, shoot... I thought you was dead the whole time.

So what in the hell occured 15-18 years ago in the Camp Point area that made all these athletes???? Water, Long winters stuck inside with the wife?I have a little insight into this I don't know how much longer CPC is gonna be this dominant. I'm just telling you what I have seen. They are still gonna be good. But. They won't have all the athletes that they've had if that makes sense. So what in the hell occured 15-18 years ago in the Camp Point area that made all these athletes???? Water, Long winters stuck inside with the wife?
WC is underclass heavy this year and beat BC this year 10-8 in a close game. They will be a competitive team barring them not developing. As far as "the well running dry" They will still be good I'm not saying they won't but instead having a multitude of dudes they are getting thinner on "dudes" but still have plenty of sound fundamental good football players.
You telling me Brad Dixon's well is running dry? Interesting...
It's been a great year to be a fan of Adams County football...
The big 3 are a combined 25-2! That's literally never happened...
That said, BC will always reload to a point with Tom Little at the helm. Calhoun seems poised to be nasty for a few more years. I can't get on board with WC til I see it... lol
Well they did co-op with Southeastern a while back from my understanding and the rumor I have heard that seems to be the main theory was the co-op ended and some of the players who were seen as "we need them" started going to CPC and now you got all these guys.So what in the hell occured 15-18 years ago in the Camp Point area that made all these athletes???? Water, Long winters stuck inside with the wife?
I don't think he will step down for a few more years. His wife is from that area and they are like I said still going to be good. Just not elite. He does have a few young children though so I could see it coming sooner than I forecast. The good ole boys in the endzone last year kept talking about their HOF coach (NOT DISPUTING) being there 20-some yeas, but when that talk starts happening, it is almost forecasting stepping down.
TOTALLY my conjecture. I know nothing, as the bumbling Col. Klink would say.
Yeah... we used to get some of them "dudes" on our campus... Dixon put a stop to that when he started winning most his football games out in the sticks!WC is underclass heavy this year and beat BC this year 10-8 in a close game.
