That’s their combined record the last two years and their only losses are to each other. LWE is about as dominant as you can get and come away with two runner up trophies. I hope those kids can realize how great they have been and just had a little bad luck running into another truly great team twice. At least when MC and LA play each other, the outcome doesn’t end a season.

I'd guess the logic behind that is similar to the swc not allowing esl to petition up to 7a. The conf wants as many teams to have post season success as possible.

If the SWC wanted titles, they's release ESL from 6A to play anyone other than Prarie Grove or whatever those two option schools are called!
