Is it just me or did all/most of us get a big laugh after that unfortunate mess at Chicago Hope Academy(WJOL called out Wheaton St Francis & Bishop Mac about not playing there & the Providence Head Coach was nothing but class about it) when Chicago Orr is playing them in the 1st Round!! Absolute garbage whoever wrote that. What week did St. F forfeit (what made national news?)? What did St. F do to accommodate Chi Hope? Put out all the facts before you look more like a horses ass! Yes...the IHSA needs to step in. I agree! But not in the way you state.
The boys posting on IllinoisHighSchoolSports.com who play Newman all the time disagree. No doubt 2A will not be able to handle the AC passing attack. But Newman will be tough with their option run game. Titanic week 10 match up. Will be sorry to see a quality team eliminated so soon.
Mac offered them several alternatives, shame on Hope for not doing that for their student athletes.
It was nice Bishop Mac alum cooked for the Hope Academy football players & donated a ton of $$$ which the kids will use for cleats among other things.I feel bad for Hope who not only lost home gates but the players must be very rusty not playing
