York just strip sacked & recovered the fumble at the O25 & scored on 2 plays. Seem to be taking over.

Oswego answers! Pretty impressive drive.
This is right when I decided Oswego CANNOT beat York.

They scored this TD to make it York 21 Oswego 16, and the Oswego coach kicked the extra point to make it 21-17.

WTF?

If you're a coach and really bad at Math, at least have an assistant that can tell you when you MUST go for the 2 point conversion.

I don’t know about the impact of injuries, but from what I saw last night York was clearly the better team.

A couple other thoughts:
- Oswego seemed to abandon an effective running game way too early.
- York coach with a horrific decision mid Q2 to go for it on 4th and long at midfield. Was a defensive battle at that point with York up 7-3. Gave Oswego a short field to go ahead 10-7 before half.
- Officials with some bizarre calls in Q4.

York is a solid team but their lack of a passing game will catch up to them.

Their lack of passing isn’t because of players. They have four legit receivers. They have a QB who can throw. They simply have an OC who doesn’t believe in it. It’s annoying as they have the kids.
