Congrats to coach Mike Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald took over a York program four seasons ago that had gone 1-8 the previous year. They had six consecutive losing seasons before Fitzgerald arrived. Remember Fitz had been Naper North's offensive coordinator for two seasons, helping NN make the playoffs both years and winning the DVC. Before that he had been at Wheaton St. Francis and the OC at Marist for several years. He really should get some consideration for coach of the year.
