Hinsdale Central is the favorite. Glenbard West second. Third could be anyone but PW.

Hinsdale Central is the favorite today. Their win over GW in the spring wasn’t a eek it out win - in was domination.
Glenbard West will be GW, but their talent is down. Lyons Township and York have improved, with what appears to be, strong Junior classes.
This should be a fun year in the WSSC.

Gold - Good question…. Willowbrook still has to be favorited, but will they be able to do more than run this season? With J Brown and J White rushing duo, better question is will they have to pass? 4 starting Oline back, who will step up and fill D1 Cruz’s role? If they have to pass, who will be throwing and catching?
DGS will be gunning for them for sure, but good enough?

AT/Morton/Leyden and PE at the bottom
While Willowbrook will come out on top, they will se biggest test week 1 @ Providence. Playoffs, if they make it will come down to QB play of a sophomore or someone else who steps up. Defensively they lost a few key players.
But they always play fast and tough - Hildreth will have them ready.

WSSC: HC, GW, LT
WSSG: WB, DGS, HS
Way too early predictions: Central will take the Silver crown but now out early in post season. West rounds into shape by week 7 and rolls in post season to quarters. Willowbrook rolls the Gold, rides the 2 horses in the backfield to the quarters and if the QB spot can be figured out possibly further. But I’m biased.

Then you can place Downers North, LT, OPRF, and York in a hat. All can finish anywhere between third and sixth.
Proviso West has a lot of work to do to catch up to the others.
