The SHG/Springfield history during the Rochelle era.
2018- Freshman Rochelle keys a second half Springfield comeback by completing a 90 yard TD pass from punt formation. An amazing gamble that paid off. 49-41 Springfield.
2019- Sophomore Rochelle makes it two in a row with a 54-42 win at SHG. Springfield’s post game behavior in the visitor’s locker room angers Ken Leonard who files it away for the spring, when his team is loaded.
2021 Spring- Junior Rochelle keeps Springfield in the game for a quarter and then SHG absolutely blows Springfield out. Springfield sits Rochelle in the 2nd half. SHG keeps scoring after the running clock. Ken Leonard refers to 2019 conduct by Springfield in post game interviews. 83-12 SHG.
To answer Edgy’s question, Springfield could win, but I’m taking SHG in a shootout 49-40. Should be a really good intense contest.
