The AP Tests have been trimmed from 2 1/2+ hours back to under 1 hour and the content reduced to account for "Units" not covered the last 2 months. College admissions personnel paying lip service to granting credit as in the past, but I'm not buying that for a minute. With reduced revenue/enrollments I doubt the climate will exist for allowing students (who are actually going to attend) to take fewer classes at the school for their degree. Additionally, these tests are being taken a week later delaying results until mid to late summer after many freshman year class registrations have already occurred. FYI, for the first time this past school year a HS student had to register/pay in October for AP Testing instead of the customary January or February. What a "racket."I hear AP TESTS start now ... wonder what the pass/fail ratio will be like compared to years before.
this can be a college cost killer - Twin B had 53 hours going into U of I.
College Board AP testing needs to be scrapped. What a joke. $$ grab
Both of mine graduated early too.I don't know. My daughter was able to earn 21 college credits from AP testing. She will be able to graduate at least a semester early. Taking the tests were well worth the $ for me.
