I think both teams are evenly matched. Its gonna come down to which defense can get the most stops. it should be a high scoring affair.
I will take South Elgin. 8A school that keeps improving and have been tested this year by Glenbard East. Glenbard South has played one of the weakest schedules in the state.
It's a closed conference so you cant say they havent played anybody.
That doesn’t make any sense. 2 other teams in the conference have winning records. South Elgin has played both of them. GS has not. The Raiders opponents have a record of 7-18. SE’s are 11-14. Obviously at the end of the season it will be the same with the closed conference but the Storm have played the one other big team in the conference.
Luck of the draw for South Elgin. And kudos to West Chicago with those 3 wins.
Glenbard East is vastly superior to anyone Glenbard South has played. The SE-GE game was 17-14. Pretty much the definition of being tested for that conference.
Congrats to the Raiders. 14-13 winners. Missed extra point is the difference. Sounds like the Raiders D stepped up and held the Storm to 182 total yards.
Battle of the Glenbards in two weeks. And you can throw out the schedule they have played.
