Teen with size 23 feet getting custom shoes from PUMA

I was in basic training with a guy who's shoe size was so large that the Air force couldnt fit him. He was allowed to wear his sneakers throughout training, although he was allowed to skip the hated parades.

His AF shoes had to be custom made.

They probably would have discharged him, but he was a genius at speaking languages.

My dad wore size 12 shoes. He said one of his best days was when his four sons out grew his shoe size. George Janky played center at St. Rita. There was a shoe store on Western by the Marquette Bank that had a pair of his old shoes in the front window they were huge, like in the 18 range. I feel for this young man.

I were 11 both my sons were 15. We ordered their shoes from Eastbay.

FYI - Thanks to an attack of COVID four years ago, I began to lose weight and wound up 40 pounds lighter.

In addition to the weight, my shoe size shrank (shrunk, shrinked?) a half a size.

I topped out at size 17 in college. Spent my grammar school and high school years with mom walking in to shoe stores with hope and walking out with whatever they had. Lots of colorful high tops in my youth or Chuck Taylors which were always available. Don't even ask me about my hockey skates...LOL. Good for this kid because it sucked.
