St. Rita 27 @ Trinity, Ky 14 F

Diary Update. Safely landed in the Bluegrass state. First stop, hockey rink for stick and puck for the 7th grader. Churchill Downs in a bit. Stay tuned to see if your edgy handle wins me money at the track. Oh, and for the Shamrock/Mustang game updates. Yes, we travel with a hockey bag. Never know when you’ll pass by a rink

8yd TD run Clayton for the Mustangs. Big drive sustaining pass catches by JR CalvinLee and EJ Ngwagwu

PAT by JR K Talty good

Rock, I'll take the back-to-back FGs but is SR playing it safe and running between the tackles to bleed out the clock that's leading to FGs?

Since I started the day at a rink, the 3 stars of the game:
Djabril McNabb
Do it all BJ Hall
Kyle Clayton
Hogs upfront
Touchdown Tommy back on track
Special teams: hand on punt, TD, 2 FGs, a touchback

Ok that’s more than 3 but big team effort

Nice win. Thats a good program down there. How did the horse betting go?
I pored over the options and there were no slam dunk similarities. With time tight with the open ice, I just threw out 3 number combos for tris, let the wife make a couple win bets on horses that she liked the look of. I was hoping for a great story but at least the red and blue ponies came through

How will their record effect St. Rita? Trinity puts together a gauntlet of a schedule. So far, Trinity has lost 49-38 to Carmel (Indiana), St. Rita, and now plays Ohio Division 2 power Cincinnati LaSalle this weekend. They could start off 0-3 with Ohio Division 1 powerhouse Cincinnati St. Xavier still on the schedule later in the year along with a few tough opponents around Louisville along with St. Luois St. Mary's. A very good Louisville Trinity team could end the year with 4 or 5 losses. Will that have any impact on St. Rita's playoff seeding?
